Our Founders
Founded in 1993 by Gail and Roger Bowering, JD has grown from a small Northland workshop into a destination for considered, contemporary jewellery. Guided by curiosity, craftsmanship, and an eye for enduring beauty, our family has spent more than three decades designing pieces that feel both deeply personal and beautiful.

Today, our Whangārei studio continues that legacy - blending traditional bench-jewellery techniques with a modern design lens. We are proudly independent, intentionally small, and deeply connected to the clients who choose us.
